Dr. Melissa Burnett, DDS

I grew up in Mt. Zion, where I was a multisport athlete and involved in show choir. After graduating from high school in 2001, I attended Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. I went to SIUE for three years and the Southern Illinois University-School of Dental Medicine for four years, earning my bachelors in Biological Sciences after my first year of dental school.

While at SIU-SDM, I was active in student council and Psi Omega dental fraternity. I graduated in June of 2008 and was 2nd in my class. I returned to the Decatur/Mt.Zion area and started working shortly thereafter. I love my job and could not have picked a better place to be! I am married with 4 boys, who keep me on my toes! Family is very important to me and I am so very lucky to work with such amazing people that are truly like a part of my family!
